MOYGLARE SAND & GRAVEL · TIPPER & AGGREGATES

Paper worked for years. Then the business outgrew it.

Moyglare moved from paper dockets to a digital delivery process. Here, four people inside the same business explain the change from four different perspectives: owner, driver, office/accounts and day-to-day operations.

THE PROBLEM

As the business grew, the paperwork became harder to manage.

Christy says the business had two stores full of dockets. Suzie describes 24 years working with a manual system, while Brendan says a typical 7–10 load day could mean around 50–60 dockets to account for over a week.

The change had to work in the cab and in the office: make the driver's delivery record straightforward, get the signed information back without waiting for paper, and make the resulting information useful for accounts and day-to-day operations.

WHAT CHANGED

The driver does the job once. The office gets the information back.

WHY DRIVERS ADOPTED IT

Brendan's view: 7–10 loads a day without 7–10 paper dockets to worry about.

Brendan describes the driver workflow simply: put the load into the app, get the docket signed, finish the job and it is gone through to the office. He says the app is straightforward after using it for a day, and the vehicle safety check removes another piece of paper the driver has to keep track of.

HEAR IT FROM THE PEOPLE USING IT

Four people. Four views of the same change.

Christy explains the owner's decision. Brendan describes what changed for the driver. Suzie explains the office and accounts workflow. Sean describes adoption, load status and how the information helps with planning during the day.

IN THEIR WORDS

“If I said to them in the morning we're going back to dockets, they'd be telling me no.”

What another operator should take from this

The value of the Moyglare story is that the evidence comes from across the business. The owner, driver, office and operations perspectives show what the same change looked like at different points in the delivery workflow.
